James Thornton, co-author of Client Earth, and Michael Brooks, author of The Quantum Astrologer's Handbook, will both be appearing at a very special event as part of Berwins Salon North on the theme of ‘Evolution’.
Part of a series of events in their ‘Revolution, Evolution, Constitution’ series, both authors will give a 30-minute talk on the evening's theme alongside Dr Tiffany Watt-Smith. Hosted by Harrogate International Festivals, the series consists of a cabaret-style night of the most stimulating ideas in art, science and psychology designed to change your life for the better.
James Thornton is an environmental lawyer and writer. He is the founding CEO of ClientEarth, a not-for-profit environmental-law organisation with offices in London, Brussels, and Warsaw. His book, Client Earth, co-authored with Martin Goodman, details ClientEarth's inspirational, exceptional work using law to fight for the planet.
Michael Brooks, who holds a PhD in quantum physics, is an author, journalist and broadcaster. His book The Quantum Astrologer's Handbook is a science book with the panache of a novel, detailing the extraordinary life of 16th century polymath Jerome Cardano, a gifted physician and the unacknowledged discoverer of the mathematical foundations of quantum physics.
