Sir Nigel Shadbolt at How The Light Gets In

Sir Nigel Shadbolt will discuss his book, The Digital Ape, and the AI revolution at How the Light Gets In Festival of Philosophy and Music at Hay on Sunday 27 May.

Sir Nigel Shadbolt is the co-author of The Digital Ape, Principal of Jesus College Oxford, and professorial research fellow in the Department of Computer Science, Oxford. He is the chairman and co-founder of the Open Data Institute with Sir Tim Berners-Lee. In The Digital Ape, Shadbolt and co-author Roger Hampson explain how smart machines are transforming us all and what we should do about it, dispelling terror, confusion, and misconception.

Tickets to the event are £7–11 and it is available to festival ticketholders and day pass holders.
