Just Mercy wins the Carnegie Medal for Excellence

Bryan Stevenson's masterful Just Mercy — which has been described as ‘inspiring' (Washington Post) and 'emotionally profound, necessary reading' (Kirkus) — has won the nonfiction Carnegie Medal for Excellence.

The medals, which were established in 2012, recognise the best fiction and nonfiction books for adult readers published in the U.S. during the previous year. Just Mercy is the inspirational memoir of Bryan Stevenson, one of the most brilliant and influential lawyers of our time.
