Scribe authors shortlisted for the Barbara Jefferis Award

Congratulations to Amy Espeseth and Jacinta Halloran, both of whom have been shortlisted for the 2014 Barbara Jefferis Award for their novels Sufficient Grace and Pilgrimage, respectively.

The Barbara Jefferis Award is offered for ‘the best novel written by an Australian author that depicts women and girls in a positive way or otherwise empowers the status of women and girls in society’.

The winner will be announced in Sydney on 6 November.
