Scribe has changed our North American sales and distribution arrangements, moving from IPG to Consortium. As part of this move, we have contracted with a US-based marketing and publicity team to support each title on our list.
Founder and publisher, Henry Rosenbloom, said, ‘This is an exciting development for us and our authors. It’s not exactly establishing Scribe US, but it does mean that we can give all of our authors who’ve granted us North American rights a better chance of breaking into the biggest English-language market in the world.’
‘We’re thrilled to be in an enhanced position to bring the works of some of the best writers from Australia and around the world to American readers.’
Scribe’s first list with Consortium will appear in the fall season, which runs from the beginning of September 2017 till the end of March 2018. The list comprises 13 titles, including lead titles from Australian authors Georgia Blain, Briohny Doyle, Chris Johnston & Rosie Jones, Melanie Joosten, and Jeff Sparrow, and international authors Hans Fallada and Mark Mulholland.
