DiscoverWe are delighted that Ellis Island by Małgorzata Szejnert, translated from the Polish by Sean Gasper Bye, has been shortlisted for the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation 2021!
The £1000 prize aims to address the gender imbalance in translated literature and increase the number of international women’s voices accessible by a British and Irish readership. The judges for this year's prize are Amanda Hopkinson, Boyd Tonkin and Susan Bassnett.
