All the Ways to be Smart is the third picture book from award-winning author and illustrator Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys, following The Underwater Fancy-Dress Parade and Under the Love Umbrella. It celebrates the myriad talents children possess, whether that’s telling the time, making up games, being kind, choreographing crazy dances, or building boats from boxes. With a gloriously diverse cast of kids who are clever at all sorts of things, this book has a really important message at its heart, especially with all the pressures that children face these days at school. It is a gentle reminder that things like helping people, being creative, and having fun are just as important as academic achievements.
To celebrate the publication of All the Ways to be Smart, we will be holding a competition for the best UK or Irish bookshop window featuring the book. The winning booksellers will get a luxury hamper full of goodies.
