Questions I am asked about the Holocaust shortlisted for the 2020 UKLA Book Awards

We are delighted to announce that Questions I am Asked About the Holocaust by Hédi Fried has been shortlisted for the 2020 UKLA Book Awards in the Information Books 3 - 14+ category. The prestigious UKLA Book Awards are the only national awards judged entirely by teachers. This year the teacher judges have been selected from schools in Refrewshire for the Information Book category and in and around Oxfordshire for the others.

12 teachers nominated from the 70 involved in the shortlisting will now form the final judging panel and have the challenging task of reading all the shortlisted books in all categories. Plans for the final judging meeting have had to adapt to the constraints imposed by the Covid-19 epidemic and similarly the winner’s announcement will be postponed until later in the year. A date will be announced as soon as possible.
