Tiffany McDaniel wins the Not the Booker Prize

Tiffany McDaniel has won The Guardian's Not the Booker Prize 2016 with her novel The Summer that Melted Everything!

The Not the Booker is The Guardian's reader-led alternative to the Booker Prize. McDaniel won the popular vote by a margin of thirty before winning the competition overall, with the judges describing it as 'white hot' and 'a wonderful gothic novel with a lot of heart.'
