Megan Clement is a feminist journalist who also happens to be a passionate football fan. A correspondent in Paris for The Observer, she has also written for The New York Times, The Guardian, CNN, The Telegraph, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, New Lines Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, and many other publications, most often about gender inequality and human rights, but also about the Tour de France, the rise of girls’ football in the Parisian banlieue, and the inherent violence of the Alpine marmot. Her memoir, Desire Paths, was published by Ultimo Press in April 2025.
