'A System So Magnificent It Is Blinding' book

We are delighted to announce that A System So Magnificent It Is Blinding by Amanda Svensson (trans. Nichola Smalley) has been longlisted for The International Booker Prize 2023. The prize is awarded annually for a single book, translated into English and published in the UK or Ireland. The vital work of translators is celebrated, with the prize money divided equally between the author and translator.

The shortlist will be announced on 18 April and the winner will be awarded on 23 May at a ceremony in London.
